Finalist in the 2024 Best For Blondes category of the British Hair and Beauty Awards, Donna from The Hair Journey tells us that she is “passionate about hair. “ She describes herself as a “hair loss and extension specialist and blonde perfectionist” and with her twenty six years of experience, it’s no wonder that she has a strong client following here at our studio. She tells us, “my clients think I’m the best, I think they’re the best.” She tells us that she’s “a lover of all things hair and beauty.” She has managed award winning salons. which makes her input and presence here at our studio all the more valuable. She has a lovely, affable, “can do” nature and it’s no wonder that so many of her loyal clients have with her for years,
The Lavender Loft
Winner of Colour Technician Of The Year for the Wales Region in the British Hair and Beauty Awards 2024 and Wales finalist for 2025, Becki from The Lavender Loft has really carved a niche for herself . Her clients are coming from far and wide to avail themselves of her talented, beautiful colour creations. She describes herself as a “blonde and vivid specialist “ and has sixteen years of experience. Her products are all vegan friendly. You’ll be able to see from Becki’s Instagram account that she has a large following and loves to inject some fun into her work.
Cutz By Cerys
Cerys from Cutz By Cerys is another master colourist and hair stylist with a wealth of experience. She specialises in everything from barbering to balayage and has been quickly building up a strong client following since joining us at White Cat. We are seeing beautiful blonde creations from Cerys. And with her friendly disposition, she’ll cut your children's’ hair too and make them feel at ease.
Hair By Charlie
Despite being our youngest hair stylist, Charlie can also boast that she’s a master colourist and has a richly deserved, large following on Instagram. She has just shy of nine years experience in the hair industry and during that time has worked hard to progress her skills in creating beautiful hair, which she says, she ‘s passionate about. She specialises in balayage, colour correction and long hair and she’s trained in four different hair extension methods. She says that her “favourite thing about (her) job is making people feel confident.

Rhiannon is really excited to share that she’s starting a new chapter as a self-employed stylist with us as RTH Hair here at White Cat. After twenty five amazing years and winning two years running for the “Best in Cardiff in the Welsh Hair and Beauty Awards and unforgettable experiences in her previous salon, she’s thrilled to bring her passion and skills to our place.
She specialises in all aspects of hairdressing, from cutting and styling to colouring and keratin blow-dries. She’s here to tailor your hair needs in a relaxed and friendly envirnment.
She tells is that she can’t wait to connect with her “wonderful clients and welcome some new faces too “ and thanks them for their continued love and support throughout her journey. She says that “it means the world.”
KK Hair Retreat
We’re excited to introduce Karen, from KK Hair Retreat, our newest self employed stylist to our studio. With over twenty five years of experience, including running her own salon for many years that won “Best in Cardiff in the Welsh Hair and Beauty Awards for two years in a row.
Karen specialises in all types of cuts and colours, with a particular passion for balayage and keratin straightening. Whether you’re looking for a subtle refresh or a complete transformation, Karen is dedicated to helping clients achieve their perfect look.
Known for her friendly, approachable nature, Karen ensures every client feels comfortable and confident during their visit. She is thrilled to welcome both new and returning clients to the studio and can’t wait to created beautiful hair together.

Bliss Therapies and Healing
Vicky from Bliss Therapies and Healing is a complementary and level 3 Spa and Body therapist, specialising in holistic remedies including Indian head massage, reiki and reflexology. Vicky ensures all clients have a professional and personal service, tailored to them. She adapts treatments to cater for their specific needs, using her intuition and experience in many different therapeutic and holistic techniques. We believe that makes her really special. She tells us that “it’s interesting how through reflexology, you can learn so much just from the soles of the feet.”

Vicky is also a qualified beauty therapist , her services including eyebrow tinting and body waxing.
Glammys Nails
Lisa from Glammys Nails is our lovely nail technician who is with us every Thursday. She tells us that nails are her passion and she says, “I’ve been doing nails ever since I can remember “ She specialises in acrylic, BIAB, gel nails and manicure. And if you ’d like to have some creative artistry on your nails, she can do that too.
KA Brows
We ladies love our brows like never before and Keelie from KA Brows is the lady to make your brow aspirations come true. She works her magic by producing the most beautiful brows and lush lashes in a comfortable environment.
Leigh
Leigh completed her first year of training many years ago before taking a break to raise her family. But her love of hair didn’t go away and she‘s now returned to her training, currently studying in her Level 3 at Barry College. In between training, she loves to put what she’s learnt into practice and she’s often seen helping out and learning skills from our experienced hairdressers. Leigh is currently growing her own clientele and as a trainee hairstylist, she’s taking bookings at a competitive rate.
Mikey
Mikey manages our studio and he’s the king pin that pulls everything together for our self employed professionals. We would encourage you to contact our professionals directly but there may be times when they are busy working and it’s then that a quick phone call to Mikey may do the trick as he can quickly consult with our working team as to their availability. Mikey is very welcoming, loves chatting (on his own admission, probably a little too much ) and tells us that he “makes a great cup of coffee.” And talking of coffee, have you tried Suburban, the lovely coffee shop , just a few doors down from us? Our customers often pass the time by sitting at our island and ordering food from Suburban .
